For 2009 we will combine the Georgia Coast Rally and the SBC Classic Boat Rally into a single event which will be called The Classic Boat Rally. For current purposes we are showing the two segments as the Georgia Rally and the SBC (Savannah, Beaufort, and Charleston) Rally.

There is a launching ramp right by the City Marina at 1 South Front Street. If you need a crane for launching, go to Tiger Point Marina, 997 Egans Point, 32034, a couple of miles north of City Marina and the Hampton Inn Hotel. This is a full service marina. The launching crane is $10 per foot of LOA. The mast stepping crane is $200 per hour (figure $100 for 3o minutes). Get set up and motor or sail south (30 minutes) on the Amelia River to the City Marina dock for overnight ($1.75 per foot) or, if there is transient space at Tiger Point the overnight is $1.25 per foot.
