Com-Pac 16
LOA 16 feet; Displacement 1,100 pounds (400 in the keel); Draft 18 inches. Built in 1982. Located Beaufort, SC.

This boat was owned by a Georgia lady who kept it at a lake, using it rarely, until the current owner bought it in 2006 and took it over to Beaufort, SC. Having been only "dry-sailed" it never been painted on the bottom. After purchase, the current owner replaced the original hardware with Harkin blocks and cam cleats, purchased a new 155 Genoa and added the appropriate fairlead tracks and Harkin blocks, replaced the original flat aluminum rudder with a tear-drop shaped new one, and rigged the boat with a Thistle-class spinnaker with appropriate cleats, rigging, and pole. This boat, which has a lockable cuddy cabin and self-draining cockpit, is in exceptional condition and comes with the "factory" trailer, a recent vintage 2.5 HP motor, a Porta Potty, and is ready to sail as probably the fastest Com-Pac 16 in existance. Price $5,900. Contact Sam (Woody) Norwood at snorwood@mindspring.com .
