The following photographs were taken by Alice Lynch, Beth Tumlin, Frank Pontious, and Walt Gnan. Of the hundreds taken,
these were judged to be the best of the best. In the course of the week, we had winds that ranged from zilch to over 25 knots.
The final two scheduled days were blown out and abandoned due to troopical storm Adelle which packed winds in excess of 30
knots. So, the following photos covered Savannah to Edisto Island where the fleet pulled out.
We were all disappointed to not find a convenient way of assembling the entire fleet under sail for a full group shot.
The original plan had been to group together on the way to Edisto. However, this turned out to be a very heavy weather day with
only four boats participating, so the planned group shot was cancelled.
