Phone (912) 238-1200 and tell them you are with the Classic Boat Rally. If they don't get it, ask to speak to Morgan Doles or Kelly Baker, Sales Coordinators. Savannah YC is across the Thunderbolt Bridge going East from Mulberry Inn, about a 15 minute drive. Our block is limited, so please book early.

Fifteen rooms blocked, discount priced at $99 plus tax per standard room. This facility is on the road just before you go over the bridge to Hilton Head Island, on the left (north) side. It is only about ten minutes to the SCYC in Windmill Harbour on Hilton Head. Reservations 1-843-837-8111. Tell them you are with Classic Boat Rally. Going to the club, cross over the bridge to Hilton Head and look almost immediatly for the right turn to Wildmill Harbour. Beaufort, April 25 and 26: Beaulieu House Inn (a B&B on Cat Island): http://www.beaulieuhouse.com/ . Charming, with five rooms blocked, priced acording to the room ($155 to $205).  Call 866.814.7833 (toll free) for reservations, and tell Diane, the owner, you are with Classic Boat Rally. Located about ten minutes from BYSC, shore crews can see the fleet coming up Beaufort River from this property. Pub across the street. As with all our blocks, this expires 30 days ahead of arrival date. There are many other motels within 15 minutes of the club, including Best Western Sea Island Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, a Hampton Inn and a Days Inn.

Edisto Island, April 27 and 28:   We have committed to this house and we will allocate rooms according to (a) how many people are staying in your room (your choice) and (b) date of commitment to the Classic Boat Rally to use this option. All rooms will be $200, all inclusive, for the two nights. Room occupancy can be from one person to four. Each participating skipper decides. The more people in a room, the more economical per person but the less private. This house has a kitchen. Book this through Woody Norwood, stating how many rooms and the number of people in each room. To reserve a room, contact Woody at 404-352-9536, or send an email to Woody@ClassicBoatRally.com, and follow up with a check in the amount of $200 per room (for the two night commitment) made out to Classic Boat Rally, addressed to 47 Ridge Road, Cat Island, SC 29907 prior to April 1, 2009. This is like a vacation house at the beach for two days and is very special in convenience and amenities. Earliest bookings confirmed with check will get the best room allocations. Options are (1) stay on your boat at the Marina, (2) Drive back to Beaufort (about an hour) or drive up to Charleston (a bit over an hour).

Bohicket Marina, Seabrook Island, April 28: Options here are (1) Return to Edisto if you are staying in the rental house (under an hour), (2) stay on your boat, (3) return to Beaufort (1.25 hours), or go to Charleston (a bit under an hour).

Charleston, April 29: Holiday Inn Riverview (economical ($150 to $175), about 15 to 25 minutes drive (depending on traffic) from Carolina Yacht Club). http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hotel/chsrv;jsessionid=ZHO3YUYBZHNCYCTGWANSJBQKM0YBGIY4?firstpoint=dcb1&_requestid=242909 . From here your shore crew can have a view of our fleet arriving from Wapoo Creek to the Ashley River about 45 minutes before we arrive at Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston; or, for your final night, a touch of history and elegance at
John Rutledge House Inn in the heart of the Historic District at 116 Broad Street (charming but expensive ($270 at our discounted price, including fabulouse breakfast), walking distance to Carolina YC): http://www.johnrutledgehouseinn.com/ .
